About Us

Mohammed Hassan began Shuman Bookkeeping after years of experience in Bookkeeping to better serve the Lewiston/Auburn community. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Accounting and is a certified tax professional. He is currently working towards his EA (enrolled agent) accreditation which is the highest license for tax preparation.

Mohammed understands the need for small businesses to have their books, payroll, and taxes accounted for and in order. Many small businesses are in the unfortunate position of doing this themselves or by part time employees that may not be reliable or long term.
